Follow-up Comment #16, bug #60058 (project octave): I'm not an expert at all in Java development. But if I understand the code snippet correctly, it overrides any properties a user might have set manually in that namespace(?). Should overridden properties be reset after that? Could you please provide a patch that can be applied on top of a current tip of the default branch (preferably complete with a commit message). Please, keep the changes to the documentation and to the behavior separate.
