URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?60127> Summary: DESCIPTION Depends: != and ~= missing Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: ernstreissner Submitted on: Fri 26 Feb 2021 03:33:05 PM UTC Category: Interpreter Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Installation Failure Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Reissner Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: 6.2.0 Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: As my package works for 5.2.0 and again for 6.2.0 but not for 6.1.0 because of a bug in octave, I want to write in the DESCRIPTION file the dependency Depends: octave (>= ${versionOctaveMin}), octave (<= ${versionOctaveMax}), octave (~= 6.1.0) maybe with !=. That way one can specify an interval with gaps. Unfortunately this seems not possible : "Invalid call to strtrim." _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?60127> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
