Follow-up Comment #33, bug #60310 (project octave):
Did you install 6.2.0 and 5.2.0 side by side?
Maybe related (just a hunch!):
If I install Octave-7.0.0 (dev version) on a box that has 5.2.0 or 6.2.0
installed, the desktop shortcuts for 7.0.0 refer to the 5.2.0 or 6.2.0
installation. Apparently the installer screws up when creating the shortcut
paths, in combination with the wscript (Windows Scripting Host) stuff.
So it may be worthwhile to check if the paths in the shortcuts point to the
proper Octave installation.
