Follow-up Comment #3, bug #60392 (project octave):
Additional information: When starting Octave in a terminal from the shell
$ ./run-octave --gui
hitting Ctrl-C within this terminal executes an interrupt in the command
widget. (While this should kill Octave instead)
But hitting Ctrl-C inside the command-widget has no effect.
