Follow-up Comment #8, bug #60384 (project octave): Since these are just changes in .m files, you could download the changed files from the repository: https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/file/tip/scripts/polynomial Afaict, they should still be compatible with Octave 6.
