Follow-up Comment #4, bug #60450 (project octave):

Yes, we could probably switch to using inflate in a loop and do all the error
checking ourselves, but we already know precisely the expected output size and
completely uncompressing a buffer in one call is what uncompress{,2} from zlib
are already supposed to do, so it would be great if those functions got it
right and just reliably uncompressed the data block.
