Follow-up Comment #4, bug #60830 (project octave):
No the problem here looks to be a different XML tag order (not alphabetic) - a
known weakness of the OCT interface. But in this case one that can be worked
around.
docProps.xml and also e.g., calcChain.xml aren't vital parts of an OOXML
archive and -as you say- will be re-generated automatically.
