Follow-up Comment #1:
I haven't found the form lsim(b,a,u,t) with b, a being polynomials of the
transfer function, in the actual documentation of lsim in Matlab. Therefore, I
guess this form is deprecated and is still supported by Matlab for backward
compatibility. Does anyone has more insight here?
