Details:
Steps to reproduce:
0 Add a breakpoint to some otherwise valid .m function file by clicking in the
left margin
0 Add some bogus statement anywhere in the file, just to change something. Or
just add a space and backspace it away
0 Save the file. Octave mentions:
> ">> warning: time stamp for '\full\path\to\<function.m>' is in the future"
0 With or w/o hitting Enter key to get a prompt, add statement invoking the
function and press Enter to start it.
Result: breakpoint is silently wiped before execution of <function> starts,
function executes to the end.
Expected result: breakpoint is preserved, <function> stops at breakpoint.
