Follow-up Comment #4, bug #59310 (project octave):
Thank you dear Octave developers for fixing this Octave bug somewhere between
Octave-5.2.0 and Octave-6.0.90:
While using the same openjdk 11.0.11 with both versions, this bug manifests
with Octave-5.2.0 but not anymore with Octave-6.0.90.
Would you please point me to what you have changed to fix this bug so that
maybe we can provide an updated 5.2.0 with a bugfix for our users that might
still use ubuntu 20.04 and therefore Octave-5.2.0 for the next 4 years?

(By the way, the suggested java.opts settings have had no effect).
