Follow-up Comment #22, bug #60928 (project octave): filter.cc performance was also bad as would be predicted by the use of the while loop. Timings for before and after are shown below. ## Baseline DIM1: 0.020907 DIM2: 2.158784 DIM3: 0.464140 DIM4: 0.018331 --------------- ## division fix DIM1: 0.020159 DIM2: 0.020605 DIM3: 0.020099 DIM4: 0.018271 A very nice 100X improvement along dimension 2!
