Update of bug #60539 (project octave): Status: Patch Submitted => Fixed Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #23: I benchmarked new function and I find it is ~3.2X faster than the original. I updated Michael's code for various Octave coding conventions and checked it in here: http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/26bb2cbf6da2. Although I slightly changed the structure, I maintained the distinction between "step" and "dx" that was the subject of much discussion in this report.
