Follow-up Comment #18, bug #61968 (project octave):

Re comment# 16: IIUC, `::ldexpf` corresponds to the function defined in C99.
`std::ldexpf` would correspond to the function defined in C++11. But it looks
like the latter isn't implemented on the platforms I checked.
