What does 'this' in "The simple changeset.... fixes *this*" refer to? Just the
settings not being saved?

Apart from the moving borders bwteeen vertically stacked docked panes, I also
see (on Windows at least) that upon each restart the column widths in the file
browser are reset. Do you need a separate bug report for that?
