Follow-up Comment #13, bug #62271 (project octave):

@ttl - what else happens immediately after a save?

- it checks for a file name / tap update
- i believe it also reloads the file to make sure line numbers, breakpoints,
function definitions, are refreshed in the interpreter, correct? 
- anything else? can we imagine how any of those might result in an
overwritten, now-empty, file? or a file access error that would corrupt the
file and make it revert to a zero byte file?
