Follow-up Comment #8, bug #62412 (project octave):

I don't see a reason to have a path to calling quad() within integral.m.  The
documentation is clear that integral() is a wrapper for various possible
quadrature functions.  As long as integral returns a warning when it fails
then I think users will understand that they need to go to the individual
functions directly.
