Follow-up Comment #5:

I made a small amendment to add the new warning ID to the list of IDs in
warning_ids.m (https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/39876ea8c588).

I verified a warning is produced when deprecated linestyle options are used. 
Marking as Fixed and closing report.
