Follow-up Comment #32, bug #62552 (project octave): I might be biased because I read the remainder of this bug report before reading your NEWS entry. But imho, it describes pretty clearly what is going on, why the behavior changed, and what a user can do to fix their code. (That last part is only implicitly covered.
