Follow-up Comment #7, bug #62576 (project octave):
Do you know why that doesn't work? Paths starting with a drive root and UNC
paths should be equally valid as paths in Windows...
Do you always call `dir()` without input argument? In that case, you could
probably replace `a(k).folder` by `pwd()`.
