Hmm, as soon as I hit <Windows><Shift><S> to make a screen shot, the cursor
disappears completely - how did you get your screen shots together?
I agree that the default color scheme could be improved - at least on Windows,
but that applies a fortiori for many many other SW, notably Windows Explorer,
MS-Office, Edge and other MS programs (don't get me started...) Yet few
people seem to complain about those.
At least Octave offers a reasonably usable workaround.
I hope you don't mind me lowering severity / priority and make it a feature
request.
