Does the test case in bug #55634 still work with that change?
I'm still struggling to understand why any of this would affect the order in
which objects are drawn by the gl-renderer.
Maybe lines in a hggroup are drawn at a different z-level? But then, why is it
"fixed" when drawing an additional line on top?
