Follow-up Comment #18, bug #63063 (project octave):

I tried what you suggested, and what was supposed to be the overall patch file
ended up being just part of the third patch. (I have been using TortoiseHg,
and I couldn't figure out how to make it patch --no-commit, so I had to do
that part command line, then back to the Tortoise. Maybe that caused the
problem. Sometimes the Tortoise doesn't seem to find all my updates unless I
close and reopen the Workbench.)

Instead, I ended up going back to the latest revision I could pull (Rev.
31243, Br. default, Des. "build: Fix Makefile rule ...", according to the
Tortoise) and just merging all my changes with that. Resulting total bugfix is
attached.

Hopefully it works this time. I may work on a couple things that I think will
improve some output accuracy, but I'm going to wait until these current fixes
are committed.
