I just upgraded Octave from ver. 7.1 to 7.2 using Home-brew. My optimizers
that call lsqnonlin from the optim package which were working under Octave 7.1
no longer work under Octave 7.2. I have optim package version 1.6.2 installed
which is the latest version.

Here is the type of error I get from Octave 7.2 from any of my programs which
used to work under Octave 7.1:



octave:37> spec = cmy_to_spec( cmyFact, dyeSet, illum, cmf, mode );
error: '__max_nargin_optim__' undefined near line 28, column 7

    __maybe_limit_arg_count__ at line 28 column 33
    __nonlin_residmin__ at line 92 column 11

    unnDyes at line 77 column 69
    cmy_to_spec at line 65 column 15
