Without having looked into it in any depth: The first group of tests might be
too restrictive. The result might still be correct with that symmetry.
The Inf vs. NaN mismatch might be testing undefined behavior. But it is kind
of unintuitive why `inv(NaN(2,2))` would result in `Inf` values.
