Follow-up Comment #8, bug #63227 (project octave):

I don't believe so.  It should create a Program Files/GNU Octave/Octave-7.2.1
folder so they don't collide. but if you want to play it safe it may be best
to do so. (the desktop icons my overwrite). I usually don't work with multiple
versions using the exe installers, I use the zip/7z versions for that.
