Follow-up Comment #25:

We are using MXE Octave mainly to cross-build on Linux for Windows.
People interested in building Octave natively on Windows could check using the
native build environments of MSYS2.

Closing as won't fix. But anyone that is still interested on using MXE Octave
natively on Windows is welcome to investigate.
