Follow-up Comment #10, bug #55765 (project octave):

linked nan related xtests to bug #50571 and remembered to clean up the line
lengths.

also noticed that splitting an error message across two lines causes the error
BISTs to fail. a quick search didn't find anything but will create a separate
bug report if that hasn't been seen before.
