Follow-up Comment #18, bug #63265 (project octave):
The unlink system call will remove read-only files, at least when "read-only"
has the traditional Unix/POSIX meaning and the directory containing them is
writable.
The problem with unlink not removing files that have some other non-POSIX
"attributes" attached to it appears to be the problem here, correct?
