Follow-up Comment #19, bug #63265 (project octave):
That is correct.
The patch in comment #10 modifies the `unlink` call on Windows to be more like
the POSIX function (by removing that non-POSIX file attribute if applicable).
But there were remarks that doing that might be risky.
