Follow-up Comment #3, bug #63317 (project octave): Might also be file system lag. I noticed that there is a lot of disc activity while running the test suite in the GUI. (Maybe caused by frequent updates of the file browser widget or Octave's load path each time the current directory changes?) I sometimes end up in a different folder from the one I started in when executing `__run_test_suite__`.
