Follow-up Comment #21, bug #63162 (project octave):

Yes, this one is ready to go. Please apply Comment #16 patch, then Comment #17
patch.

Based on the feedback I received here, I have not made any changes to how
extra function parameters are handled, except to the extent required to fix
the Event finding. I think that particular issue is low priority, as at this
point it is mostly a code cleanup project, rather than functionality (unless
the feature is deprecated at some point). If I decide to work on it at a later
time, I will open a new bug report.
