Follow-up Comment #2:

This looks like an upstream bug to me.
The first issue is that is looks like their prototypes for these Fortran
functions are lacking the last arguments for your platform (size of the string
arguments).
The second issue is that they should not have added these prototypes in a
header that is used by projects outside of SuiteSparse.

Could you please report this upstream to the SuiteSparse developers?
