[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #63524] dir doesn't do full recursive search with '**'

Follow-up Comment #19, bug #63524 (project octave):

Could you please upload a diff or patch to the default branch of the Mercurial
(or Git) repository of Octave?
It's hard to tell which version of the .m file you took as a base and which
changes you intended. 
Also, the file you uploaded has CRLF line endings. Is your editor setup
correctly?
