Follow-up Comment #2, bug #63893 (project octave):
Regardless of Snap, parallel package is broken.
On 7.3 it has "undefined symbol: num_processors" error

(I assume the fix did not make it to the released package yet).
On 8.1.1 it just would not compile. So we need a new release.
