Xtickangle is not operational, but only a dummy for Matlab compatibility. This
information is missing in help output and the documentation. I.E.: If you
issue xtickangle(45) nothing happens, and xtickangle() reports 45. Also
get(gca,‘xticklabelrotation’) reports 45.
It’s not a big issue, it costs only the one or other hour until you know,
that this command is not functional and that this is not a problem of your own
system. Hence, a small note about this issue would be very helpful for the
user.
