In Matlab, you can add a listener to UI elements (e.g. slider) that make it
respond instantly rather than waiting for the mouse button to be released. The
command to implement this is: *addlistener(h,'Value','PostSet',@callback)*.
In Octave, this results in an error:
*error: 'PostSet' undefined near line 1, column 1*
It's a very convenient feature - I wonder if it's something that could be
implemented? I attach a small working example.
