Octave used to accept multiple line comments in command window as matlab
always does. The example below shows the error when the multiple line
comments are grouped with other statement/command. Thanks.
for ii=1:1
%{
%}
end
>> for ii=1:1
%{
%}
>> end
error: parse error:
syntax error
>>> end
^
>>
