Getting a crash with the patch on make check and make check-vm:

Octave was built with
../configure --enable-std-pmr-polymorphic-allocator --enable-largefile
--enable-year2038 --enable-threads=posix --enable-64 --enable-openmp
--enable-readline --enable-fftw-threads --enable-java --enable-docs
--disable-lib-visibility-flags --with-openssl=yes --with-qt=5
