Follow-up Comment #1, bug #65712 (group octave):

The heck?! I was testing with all kinds of inf and nan there and found that
the nint_value was needed to specifically guard against inf so I left it in
place with a comment about what it does. But I tested only with clang for both
branches, not gcc.

Should I backout the changeset so that gcc will build it?
