Follow-up Comment #2, bug #66451 (group octave):

Symbol visibility flags for exception handlers have been tricky on Windows.
Maybe, we'll need something special for Darwin, too?

Does the issue still occur if you configure with
`--disable-lib-visibility-flags`?
