* Letters to long standing donors that also give $120 exactly every year would
be similar, "During this tumultuous economy, we depend on donors like you to
help us make up the gaps. Some of your fellow members are out of work and
unable to keep up with their membership dues. We're asking you to consider
adding $50 or $100 to your regular gift to help make up the difference."

to send back their money now.
+A new donor card with a topical slogan expressing urgency, aka. why they need
to send back their money now. "Your 2009 gift helps us support high priority
projects like Gnash!" or "Your gift today will help us fund an exciting new era
of women's participation in the free software movement!"
+
+The card to members we aren't specifically targeting for an increase could
include a small bump request, "Add $25 to your annual membership to help us
send out 50 more letters to companies and organizations urging them to consider
free software instead of an "upgrade" to Windows 7"
