Hi Om people,
I have just recompiled om, because I upgraded libjack from 0.080 to
0.100 (or sth like that.)
I have used the latest release 0.2.0.
Now the status is as follows:
- Engine starts without problems
- Gui starts without problems
Then, only problems:
- Loading a patch either results in not loading it or om_gtk shutting
down giving a neat and tiny seg-fault message. The engine still stays
alive. But starting gtk again then produces loads of xruns. (The order
of the problem may vary) The occurence of the problem is independent of
the fact whether a ladspa plugin is missing or not...
- Using om_patch_loader to try loading a patch also results in seg faults...
- Nevertheless om itself seems to work... (VeryVery buggy...) I
constructed a stereo feedthrough monitoring alsaplayer and music was
there. (But I just have to say "buh" to it to make it crash... ;-))
If I will ever get happy with om... ;-)
But I know that you nice guys will be there to help me soon....
