I saw an article that used jpanese text in the subject and decided to 
click on it.  When I did pan crashed with the following error:
(pan.exe:2764): Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to 
pango_layout_set_text()


Also, if I understand the code correctly pan is supposed to mark expired 
articles as read after retreiving overviews.  If this is the case it 
does not appear to be working so I have no way to determine if an 
article has been expired until I click on it.
