Hmm. I have a VIA chipset and .22. So maybe this is effecting more
than one chipset. It was definitely locking up the 100 UDMA drive. The
current setup placing each drive on its own controller, appears to be
working really quite well.
I'm back to playing MP3s and downloading from pan, and reading some
pages in mozilla. Before it was like I was in MS Windows... :( Man
dreadful flashback... those naughty words started coming out again.
I've cleaned up my language, and have less broken mice/keyboards since
I migrated to Linux some years ago.
