sigc++-1.2 removed the "SigC::convert" functionality and refuse to return
it, so sigcx-0.5 took it and updated it to work once again with the newer
sigc++.
I'm not entirely sure how to remove the dependency on "convert" so I added
one to sigcx...  which got everything working.  Sigcx looks nice anyways
