Yeah, definitively my fault.... im wondering though, how to achieve this. The
idea is that the addybook should be usable outside the email app as a
component. That is all, thats why i have to use my own instance of the template
class, attempting to do otherwise (through globals[phpgw]->template) will make
it fail since it will look for templates in the current (calling) app's
directory.
Im not shure of how to handle this, but im getting back on track for this week
and ill get to it sooner than one might think.
=================== BUG #1618: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: ralfbecker Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: 2002-Nov-05 08:18
Category: email Bug Group: devel cvs
Severity: 9 - Critical Priority: High
Resolution: None Assigned to: alexbsa
Status: Open Component Version: None
Platform Version: Linux - Debian Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: Angelmail tries to set the dir of the selected template, which does
not exist
Original Submission: I use Angelmail from HEAD cvs in a up-to-date 0.9.14
environment. When i select a template/layout like verdilak, which has no
directory in Angelmail/email. A call to angelmail's compose fails with the
following error:
Warning: stat failed for /www/drock/html/phpgroupware/email/templates/verdilak
(errno=2 - No such file or directory) in
/www/drock/html/phpgroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.Template.inc.php on line 62
Template Error: set_root: /www/drock/html/phpgroupware/email/templates/verdilak
is not a directory.
Halted.
It seems to me angelmail is setting (function set_root) the dir of the selected
template, which does NOT necessarely exist, eg. for verdilak. When i create an
empty verdilak subdir in email/templates the error is gone.

hey ralf,
I have been looking into this one myself. I had the same solution ... but i
don't think it is optimal ... but i can find anywhere compose calls the
set_root method of the templates object. Leave it with me.
Cheers
