=================== BUG #1242: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: None Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on:
Category: calendar Bug Group: devel cvs
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: High
Resolution: Fixed Assigned to: ralfbecker
Status: Closed Component Version: None
Platform Version: Linux - Debian Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: access control badly broken with ldap backend
Original Submission: note: all works fine with a non ldap backend
when i grant read access to my calendar to a group
all other members of the group see only my name and the group entry in the drop
down list on their calendar pages.
Their own calendar comes up by default but cannot be selected from the dropdown.
Granting access to a user appears does grant them access to my events but my
name does not appear in their dropdown as it does with a mysql backend (ie they
cannot view my calendar).
This bug severely limits the utility of the calendar app...

This is with the CVS version from today...
bitc:/usr/share/phpgroupware# ls -ld calendar/
drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 4096 Sep 19 15:44 calendar/
bitc:/usr/share/phpgroupware# more CVS/Tag
TVersion-0_9_14-branch
Just let me know what I can do to help track this down...

Does this occur in the .14 release or .14 from CVS? I recently (16th or 17th)
committed some patches that should allow these to play a little nicer.
Let me know your results.
Thanks,
Mark A Peters (Skeeter)
