Pingus 0.6.0 segfaults compiling it with gcc 3.4

Hi!

I cannot run pingusd if it has been compiled with gcc 3.4. I think that it's a 
bug, and there are many people that cannot run it.
I am using gentoo 2005.0, but there are many ubuntu users with the same problem.
