I sort of did these fonts quite a while back. However, I probably need
to refresh myself with regards to exactly how it was done.
Thinking about it, the main thing was that all of the letters in the
graphics that represent each character has an alpha value of 1 or more.
So that Clanlib knows when a character starts and ends, a "boundary"
surrounds each character. The boundary is marked by an alpha value of
0.
I don't know if this answers your question or not. I don't have the
time at the moment to go into more detail. Also, I currently do not
have the Pingus source on my hard drive. I don't know when I will get
the source on to my hard drive. I have other priorities at the moment.
If you have any further questions, just e-mail me or the list.
Thanks,
Gervase.
