[Probity-discuss] why not privoxy?

hi

        i dont want to be rude, but why not helping implement all that
        probity in privoxy instead of starting a new project

        privoxy is already a very advanced filtering proxy, to clean
        sex, violence, etc from web it is just a matter of adding sites
        and keywords
        it isnt capable of filtering ftp yet, but it is in the TODO list

        it can block or just swap things with other info and the user will
        never know

        filtering nom web chats would be a very hard things, the only way
        i remember is to just allow some server and room, but it will
        never be 100% safe because it is alot more dynamic than web

        so my main question is why not take a already good project and
        help then to implement those thing instead of starting a new one
        that take a long time to have even a simple filtering
